Complete Blast Room Solutions for Industrial Applications
Clemco Blast Rooms provide dedicated environments for abrasive blasting and surface preparation. These systems are designed to accommodate different workpieces, facility layouts, and production requirements while supporting efficient blasting operations.
Available configurations range from compact pre-assembled rooms to larger pre-designed and custom-engineered systems. This variety allows facilities to choose a blast room based on available space, application requirements, and operational demands.
Blast room systems can incorporate abrasive recovery, dust collection, ventilation, and blasting equipment. These supporting components work together to manage blasting media, improve material handling, and maintain a more controlled working environment.
Whether preparing industrial components, removing surface coatings, or handling specialized blasting projects, Clemco offers room configurations suited to different applications. Selecting the appropriate system involves considering room dimensions, abrasive materials, ventilation needs, and production goals.

Blast Room Options for Different Facility Requirements

Pre-Assembled Blast Rooms
Clemco Pre-Assembled Blast Rooms are delivered fully assembled for faster installation. Measuring 14 ft long, 7 ft wide, and 8 ft high, these compact systems feature heavy-duty 10-gauge galvanized steel panels. Available configurations include pneumatic M-Section or mechanical Flat-Trak media recovery, along with dust collection, media cleaning, blasting equipment, and PPE.

Pre-Designed Blast Rooms
Pre-Designed Blast Rooms offer multiple width, height, and length combinations, with configurations up to 30 feet long. Their modular, bolt-together construction uses 10-gauge galvanized steel panels for straightforward on-site installation. Available equipment includes M-Section or Sweep-In Hopper recovery systems and CDF-6 or CDF-8 reverse-pulse dust collectors.

Engineered to Order Blast Rooms
Clemco Engineered to Order Blast Rooms are customized for specialized industrial applications. These systems can accommodate unique workpieces, production requirements, and facility layouts. Available design options include belt conveyors, screw conveyors, sweep-in hoppers, Flat-Trak, and M-Section recovery systems, along with advanced automation and material-handling equipment.
Built for Surface Preparation Across Many Industries
Clemco Blast Rooms support industrial applications such as coating removal, surface cleaning, and abrasive preparation. Engineered-to-order systems can accommodate specialized projects involving aerospace components, mining equipment, and large industrial structures.
Durable construction is an important feature of these systems. Pre-assembled and pre-designed configurations use 10-gauge galvanized steel panels, while engineered-to-order rooms provide modular construction tailored to specific operational requirements.
Blast rooms can also incorporate recovery and ventilation equipment to support efficient operations. Available media recovery configurations help collect used blasting materials, while appropriately sized dust collectors support dust management and working visibility.
For more advanced applications, Clemco offers integration options such as workcars, manlifts, monorails, robotic blasting, smart controls, and HMI interfaces. These capabilities allow specialized blast rooms to accommodate complex production processes and material-handling requirements.
Supporting Equipment for Complete Blast Room Operations
Media recovery systems play an important role in maintaining efficient abrasive blasting operations. Clemco offers five specialized recovery solutions: Belt Conveyor, Screw Conveyor, Sweep-In Hopper, Flat-Trak®, and M-Section®. These systems are designed to accommodate different abrasive materials, facility layouts, and recovery requirements.
Recovery equipment can be configured for mechanical or pneumatic operation, with full-floor or partial-floor arrangements available. Selecting the appropriate recovery method helps streamline material handling and supports abrasive reuse when the recovered media is suitable for additional blasting.
Clemco also offers CDF, RPH, and LPDC Dust Collectors for different ventilation requirements. CDF systems cover airflow options from 4,000 to 88,000 CFM, RPH units range from 600 to 3,600 CFM, and LPDC models offer 300, 600, or 900 CFM configurations. These equipment lines support dust control across different blasting environments.
Choosing a complete blast room system involves evaluating the room dimensions, blasting equipment, media recovery requirements, and dust collection capacity. Contact Z Abrasives to discuss Clemco Blast Rooms, supporting equipment, and the product information needed for your application.
